Eric Acher
Eric has long believed in the power of entrepreneurship, technology, and venture capital to change Latin America.
In 2005, he created monashees together with co-founder Fabio Igel as the first Latin American venture capital firm inspired by the best practices in Silicon Valley. At monashees he leads the investment strategy and overall management of the firm. He also focuses on investments in emerging tech, AI, consumer and edtech companies.
Eric has worked closely with Elo7 (acquired by Etsy), Enjoei (IPO), Jusbrasil, MadeiraMadeira, Moises, Neoway (acquired by B3), Nomad, PetLove and VivaReal/Grupo Zap (acquired by OLX), among others.
Prior to founding monashees he worked with venture capital at General Atlantic and strategic consulting at McKinsey.
Eric holds an MBA from Kellogg, a Diploma in Business Administration from FGV and a bachelor’s degree from ESPM
