Juxta Labs was founded to build mobile apps that improve social life for teens. The founders saw a need for classmate network messaging and built Jott Messenger. Jott supports mesh-network messaging for offline use and has users in over 60,000 U.S. schools. Juxta has recently focused on helping teens make social plans more often and more easily. The Mappen app is a friend map that uses location sharing to help teens know which of their friends have plans, who is available to hang out, and where everyone will be at the weekend.
